Course Overview

This is an examination-based course, which gives delegates accreditation at PRINCE2™ Practitioner level. The course assumes that the delegate already has a Foundation level pass in the PRINCE2™ project management methodology and will build on their knowledge of the structure and content of PRINCE2™ and tunes this knowledge into an understanding of the practical application of the method. Time will be given to assessing risks within the project, planning techniques and how to ensure a quality approach runs throughout the project.

  • To pass the Practitioner Exam

Course Content

Practical Application of PRINCE2™

  • Applying quality management techniques throughout the project lifecycle
  • Developing an approach to risk management
  • Product based planning examples and exercises

Exam preparation

  • Review of key exam topics
  • Guide on how to structure answers
  • Mock exams with answers marked by the trainer, and the provision of one to one feedback for each delegate

Examination details

The Practitioner examination is based around a scenario, with 3 questions addressing how PRINCE2™ can be applied to the scenario. Each of the 3 questions is worth 50 marks and an overall score of 75 out of a possible 150 marks is required to pass. You will have three hours in which to answer the questions, with 10 minutes reading time at the start of the examination to become familiar with the scenario. It is an open-book examination so manual and notes can be used
