Overview
PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Courses
The PRINCE2 Agile® Training combines the flexibility of Agile methods with the PRINCE2 framework.
This 3-day certification works as an add-on module for those who have passed PRINCE2 Foundation, providing guidance on applying Agile practices to the PRINCE2 methods.
Pre-Course Reading
Before the course begins with Training Deals, we will send you the pre-course work, which consists of reading the first 3 chapters of the PRINCE2 Agile handbook. We recommend you complete this work as it will help you during your training and increase your chances of success in the exam.
Upon booking, joining instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will also be emailed. In addition, delegates will be required to complete a minimum of 2 hours homework each evening which will be set by the instructor.
Course Pre-Requisites
PRINCE2 Agile can now be taken if you hold any of the following:
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Project Management Professional® (PMP)
- Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM)
- IMPA Levels A,B,C and D® (Certified Projects Director).
PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner exam
This is a 50 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 60%, or 30/50. Success in this examination indicates that you understand Agile concepts and are able to apply and tailor them to a PRINCE2 project environment.
Course Objectives
- Understand the basic concepts of common Agile ways of working
- Understand the purpose and context for combing PRINCE2 and the Agile way of working
- Be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
- Be able to fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context
- Be able to apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context
- To learn through the use of theory and practical exercises
- To prepare delegates for the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam

The PRINCE2 Agile® is a 3 day course. The course involves familiarisation with the content of the PRINCE2 Agile® handbook, preparing for the Practitioner examination.
