This course is ideal for senior leaders, portfolio managers, enterprise architects, product managers, and anyone involved in strategy, investment funding, Agile governance, or Lean budgeting within a SAFe® environment.
While there are no formal prerequisites, it is recommended that participants have a basic understanding of Agile principles and SAFe® concepts. Prior experience in portfolio or programme management is also beneficial.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the exam, participants will earn the SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager certification, which is globally recognised and demonstrates proficiency in applying Lean principles at the portfolio level.
The course is typically delivered over two to three days through instructor-led sessions, which may be in-person or online. Assessment is via a multiple-choice exam administered by Scaled Agile, Inc., which must be completed within a specified timeframe after the course.
